Ownership of Content

All systems available on this platform, including QR Menu & Order Tracker and Learn Online, are the property of KITABUNI in Tanzania. Data you enter yourself (e.g. menu items, customer orders, lesson progress) remains yours, and we only use it to run the services you use.

Services and Operating Costs

To keep this website running 24 hours a day, there are operating costs including Domain Name and high-speed Servers.

The subscription payments you make are what keep this service running. You are Kitabuni's strength — your support lets us keep improving our services every day.

Payment Terms

• QR Menu & Order Tracker: Tsh 30,000 for 30 days — includes the QR menu, an instant customer ordering system, and (for hotels) SMS alerts billed separately (see below).
• Learn Languages: Tsh 1,000 for 48 hours, or Tsh 15,000 for 30 days — this payment is separate from QR Menu and Learn IT.
• Learn IT: Tsh 3,000 for 1 day, or Tsh 20,000 for 30 days — this payment is entirely separate from other services.
• Learn KITABUNI (combined plan): Tsh 3,500 or Tsh 28,000 per month — unlocks Learn Languages and Learn IT together, cheaper than buying each one separately.
• SMS Alerts (for QR Menu hotel owners): balance is topped up in advance; cost is Tsh 75/SMS within Tanzania, Tsh 300/SMS to other African countries, and Tsh 500/SMS outside Africa.
• Payments are non-refundable once confirmed by the payment system.
• The customer is responsible for ensuring sufficient balance before making a transaction.
• All payments are securely processed through Pesapal, which accepts M-Pesa, Tigo-Pesa, Airtel Money, Visa, and Mastercard.

Permitted Use

• Using QR Menu for your legitimate business (restaurant, bar, hotel) and Learn Online for your personal studies.
• Sharing the site's link with friends — but not sharing your account.
• Contacting our support for any technical issue.

AI Services and Extra Tools

Besides QR Menu, KITABUNI offers extra tools powered by AI technology:

• AI Chat: An AI assistant that helps you with questions and quick guidance within the platform.
• Learn Languages and Learn IT: Lessons are generated by an AI assistant for learning purposes only; KITABUNI does not provide official academic accreditation or certificates, and is not responsible for the complete accuracy of every AI-generated lesson.

Privacy and Data Security

We protect your personal information strongly. We do not share your information with third parties without your consent, except where required by law.

• Your passwords are stored securely using encryption.
• Payment information is handled by Pesapal — we adhere to high security standards.
• Learn Languages/Learn IT usage data (chat history and lesson progress) is stored solely to run those services, and for as long as the relevant account stays active.
